"The Tulip Scandal" Sculpture, Mixed Media Holland Tulip Flower, Ready to Hang

A sacred flower with the WHOLE world wanting it!

It is said that the King of Holland in 10 sum sum sum AD, was getting exiled by his kingdom, made a drastic move that changed Hollands Landscape forever. It's called the Tulip Scandal. Wanting to make the tulip sacred, he had his minions burn all of the surrounding fields, even traveling to other countries to burn their fields. Making it impossible to obtain. In doing so he grew Hollands Wealth 10-fold and in doing so the price of a Tulip was higher than the price of USD. :)

This Holland-inspired mixed-media sculpture turns a floral motif into a layered scene. Give it a place where its contrasts of color and texture can invite a closer inspection.
